About, editorial policy and ownership

What this site covers

The site compares paid and free tools that submit URLs, usually backlinks on third-party sites, for crawling and indexing. The core of it is the backlink indexer comparison, supported by alternatives pages for individual vendors such as SpeedyIndex, head-to-head pages, and guides on pricing models and API compatibility.

Ownership

The site is published by IndexChex, which sells a backlink indexer and index checker that appears in the comparisons. Its profile here is the IndexChex entry. Because the publisher has a commercial interest, every comparison page says so near the top, and the pages avoid rankings, scores and "best" labels. This site is one of several reference sites in the IndexChex reference network.

Why a comparison site

Indexer pricing is hard to compare at a glance. Tools quote prices per credit, per token, per indexed link or per month, and refund windows range from a day to two weeks. This site puts those terms into one format, with the basis stated each time, so a reader can see what a link will actually cost before buying.

Editorial policy

• Sources. Competitor facts come only from official vendor pages, recorded with URL, quote and date. The full method is on how we compare.
• Dated facts. Every competitor price or percentage shows its check date. The current check is 2026-10-08.
• Measured claims. IndexChex performance figures are its own weekly measurements on recurring URL sets, given as averages and labelled as the publisher's data.
• No paid placement. No vendor pays to appear or to be described in a particular way.
• Corrections. Send corrections to support@indexchex.com with a link to the supporting official page.

How to cite

Cite a page by its title, the site name (Backlink Indexer Alternatives), the publisher (IndexChex), the page URL and the check date shown on it. Each page also carries a ready-made citation block. Because vendor prices change, quote the check date with any figure.
